Raspberry Pi 4
The new Raspberry Pi 4 is capable of dual 4K monitor support, gigabit ethernet, and still starts at just $35... what a cool time to be a nerd for this kind of stuff!
And if that wasn't cool enough, there is this via Jim Salter at ArsTechnica:
But where you can't scale up, you can scale out β and that's precisely what www.raspberrypi.org has done. The launch site for the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B is mostly running on a cluster of 18 of the little devices themselves. Fourteen handle PHP code execution, two serve static files, and two run memcached. CloudFlare is still handling the brunt of the raw network traffic, though, and the database β by far the heaviest storage load on a WordPress site βisn't running on the little Pi cluster, either.
Using CloudFlare for the network traffic and separate hardware for the database asside, still pretty cool for a cluster of Pi's.
